Why I do this
I grew up between job sites. I worked construction with my dad and my uncle, and my other uncle is an electrician. I spent 11 years renovating our old house with my family, and I still do the handyman work around the house on weekends.
In 2019 I went to the US on a Work and Travel program and ended up in Estes Park, Colorado, as a server at a restaurant with very few customers. No customers meant no tips. I was already writing SEO content back then, so I offered to help. I set up a way to get more reviews, helped them make a new menu, and built them a new website. Their Google rating went from 3.1 to 4.7 in 3 months. The manager later opened a coffee shop, and it's doing great on Google too.
After that I worked with startups. More than once, the websites I built were up and getting visitors from Google before the engineers had finished the product. And nothing beats the moment a page I wrote hits number 1 on Google. It still gives me goosebumps.
